Palermo in June...
Palermo never looks as beautiful as when springs slides into summer. The weather is warm and just perfect to relax in the sun or take a swim in the crystal clear water in Mondello beach. Bathouses are open but still not crowded and hotel guests can reserve their sunbed directly from Recption!

At Teatro Massimo, from June 15 to 23, Pagliacci by Ruggero Leoncavallo is on stage, with a production by Teatro Massimo, directed by Lorenzo Mariani and conducted by Daniel Oren. For hotel guests there is a 20% reduction on the price of tickets (opening night excluded).

From 6 to 9 June at the Botanical Garden in Palermo, there will be the 2019 edition of Una Marina di Libri Book Festival. During those days the alleys of Italy's most enchanted botanical garden will be filled with stands with the latest editions by independent publishing houses, shows, concerts, debates, children workshops and book presentations. An occasion to savor Palermo as a literary and cultural pole and lose yourself in a forest of stories.

At Teatro Massimo, from October 4 to 8, Winter Journey by Ludovico Einaudi is on stage, directed by Roberto Andò and conducted by Carlo Tenan. From October 24 to 29, Das Paradies un die Peri by Robert Schumann is on stage, conducted by Gabriele Ferro. Palermo will be unveiling its splendour as every year in October, during Le Vie dei Tesori, the Festival for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage, with more than a 100 sites, real treasures of art, science, nature and mystery, which can be visited during the 4 weekends of October at the cost of 1 or 2 euros. During the whole festival, guided walks, conferences, readings and performances pertaining to the subjects of the festival will be taking place in different venues.
